My problem with the 4-perf mounts meant for Nimslo is that the height of the
opening is very reduced. I've been able to use the Nimslo-format mounts for
some ultra-closeup purposes, but usually what I end up doing when I need to
adjust my window that much is cut out part of an Emde or Albion aluminum mask
and use it to reduce the width of the opening -- e.g. I split an Emde mount in
two, throw away the back half, cut a little bit off the ends, leaving the two
apertures at their factory-set separation, and put it over the film chips in
another mount, sliding this mask sleightly to the left or right to reduce the
width. Someone, probably Jon, told me about using an aluminum mask in this
way to reduce the width of the windows in an RBT mount, but I haven't tried
that yet.
