vergence micropsia

A couple of days after saying I didn't know of any papers on vergence
micropsia (the fact that converging nearer, as in cross-eyed free-viewing,
makes things look smaller), I've just been handed one.

The reference is

McCready, D.W. Jr. (1965).  "Size-distance perception and
accomodation-convergence micropsia--a critique."  _Vision Research_ Vol. 5,
pp. 189-206.

I haven't had a chance to read it yet, but I notice that he cites a number
of other papers, including one by Wheatstone.
