Tim - 

I dunno about the Kodak technology, but at SIGGRAPH a couple
of years ago there were some papers about using morphing
programs to interpolate intermediate views.  I've tried it
and it works.  In morphing, you designate homologous points
in the starting and ending images and the program generates
the in-betweens.
