Not only the Loreo..which is the perfect example, but also the Leica
Stereomar
(prewar was Stereoly which was different) is a pair of lenses (as was
the Zeiss Contax system). Without the prism attachment they were like
the Macro Realist is a sense..for shooting close 2-6 feet. For
distance that had a prism attachment to provide near eye separation.
These were made only in Canada by the then Leitz plant..later sold to
Hughes and GM. These attachment now cost a few thou. BobH
