Hi there!

same drawbacks.

I found, to my horror, that even in aperature priority mode, the selections
of shutter speeds on the 7xi is different than the 9xi. (How can two cameras
that look the same be so different?)

Ha! And sometimes, one camera being five incehs off to the side of the other
makes it choose a completely different thing to focus on! I would think all
twin rigs with AF cameras would have this problem. At least I can switch to
naual focus.

Um..used $20. Here is something mysterious and weird. I soldered two
RC-1000Ss together to make a twin camera release. But, when they are plugged
in I can also hit the shutter release button on either camera and have it
trigger it's pair. Very strange.
When it works it's wonderful though. I should probably buy another 9xi and
get rid of my 7xi. Then I would have the best twin rig in the whole world.
Minolta users have a nice friendly mailing list too. :)
