Realist lens cap?, B&H, an american institution.

Y'know, my Realist seems to be one of the earlier models, as it doesn't have
the
double exposure schpitzik or the right-exposure notch. But... It also
doesn't have any
means of attatching the lens cap to the camera. I just set it inside the
case, and that's
the only way to hold it in place. I can't really see how clips could even
fit in to
the cap... what's the deal? I've contemplated buying one of those lens cap
things, but
it's not as if it would even stay on... any ideas?
I live only a few blocks away from the NY Photo district, which has made my
immersion into 3D photography much easier, and probably cheaper. The huge
number of competing labs in the area mean that I can get E-6 developed at
4.00 a roll. I
don't have to tell 'em not to cut the film, they're 24 hours, and can turn
around
in a couple of hours. (before you get excited... let me tell you my rent!)
The reason I mention this is that B&H is pretty much my
local photo store. I use them for all sorts of video and film stuff.
They have always been excellent with help, returns, etc. , and consistently
manage
to undercut the competition's prices. They also have a new store for used
equipment.
I've never used their mail order, but can otherwise recommend them.
Also, visiting B&H is quite a trip, especially
at "rush hour", which seems to be all day long. It's run by a huge
collection of Orthodox
(that is, black-hat) Jews who keep in control of an immense, impatient crowd
of frantic, stressed PA's by screaming, brandishing equipment, and
communicating via a
network of phones and walkie talkies. Really something to see.
