Duplex Super Macro

Hi,all!
Especially Duplex Super people!

These days we had cold weather. So this evening let me show you guy a HOT
recipe, how to make up original Duplex Soup Macro. :-)

--------------------------------------------------------------------------
Stuffs: Duplex Super 120 (imported from Italy) ................1

         EYEPIECE CORRECTION LENSES(+2.0) for Nikon FM-2 ......2
(inexpensive high-quality lens, imported from Japan)

         Both-sides adhesive tape ............................a little

Tools: a pair of scissors
--------------------------------------------------------------------------

First you put both-sides adhesive tape cut finely on the circumference of
each EYEPIECE CORRECTION LENSES(+2.0) for Nikon FM-2.

Then you fix them on the Duplex lenses. That's all!!

When you set the distance dial to "infinity" position, I found out the working
distance from a subject to the lens is 33cm(13 inch)!!
And "the shortest" position, the working distance is 23cm(9 inch)!!!
In these cases, you had better use close-up mounts or 4-p mounts(half-size)
because of the less overlap area.

In the near distance, as a focused area is very narrow, you had better use as
large number aperture as possible, and use high-power flash, or a big ring
flash if possible.
And the finder is not usable anymore at such a near distance.

Of course, you can also use the (+3.0)E.C.lens and bring a camera closer to
a subject, however, you will have to use 2-p or 3-p mount.

I took some rolls as test. The result was G,G,G,GREAT!!!
For instance,it was so easy to take a picture of "milk crown".
Though this is not such a real Macro like SLR's, you can take stereo close-ups
of moving subjects.

I also checked some kinds of Eyepiece Correction Lenses for a friend's
Duplex 120(fixed focus). And I found that E.C.lenses(+2.0) for Nikon F3HP are
just suitable for the lens of Duplex 120.
So I put them on it. Then I found out the working distance is 28cm(11 inch).

Incidentally, the Eyepiece Correction Lens costs only about $6.00 in Japan.
I hope the price is inexpensive anywhere in the world.

I hope you must open up a new field of 3-D or soup up your 3-D works.
And any advice will be welcome. Thank you in advance.
