Mounts again

Can it be that no one has an opinion on Realist format mounts?

I only received two replies to my original request. One with some information
and one directing me to the archives. There are way too many references to a
search on "mounts" with not much info on what the article actually contains.
If someone could direct me to a specific digest or two or three. I would
really appreciate opinions on what is the best mount available and why you
think so.
