Maybe that's why you haven't found an accurate built-in level. :=)

I've applied an accurate carpenter's level to a pair of Kodak's in several
different ways (bottom of lens assembly, bottom of camera, and bottom of
film exposure windows). Both have the carpenter's level and the built-in one
match.

P.S. - I've seen Kodak stereo cameras for sale (with a higher price than the two
I bought combined) where a significant portion of the liquid in the built-in
level was missing. Not good if it leaked down into the mechanism, so there is
a bit of "bad vibes" about having a level due to this slight risk (hopefully
it just dried out slowly over 40 years). Obviously the level doesn't work
anymore (not that those sellers cared one little bit, weird).
