I sold my NORD stereo proj. about a year ago. I bought it for $75 about 2
years ago and sold it for $150. Joel mentioned prices of about $300. That
is a lot higher than I thought these would go for, but I have never seen
another one for sale. As for the projector, it's a pretty good one, worked
very well for me as my first stereo projector. My lenses were focused well,
and the projector adjustments made alignment easy. The slide carrier is a
bit clumsy, but I think most of the '50s single slide projectors suffered the
same problem. My carrier didn't locate the slide perfectly to get a full
centered image on the screen. I had to slip a rubber tube over a tab on the
carrier end to move the slides a bit further in. The fan motor was very
noisy. If I would have kept the proj. I would have replaced the fan, it was
annoying.
A Viewmaster Personal camera usually goes for between $125 and $175. The
lower price is for average condition with paint chipping and general wear,
and the higher price is for an excellent one. I think I'm close with these
prices, but if I'm not, could someone please correct them.
