Viewing stereograms

This was a slide given to me by Colin Clay in Atlanta.  Yes, he 
copied the image (using an SLR and macro lens, I assume) two 
times and then he aligned the images properly in the mask.

I gave some further thought on the subject.  To help someone view 
those, you need an instrument that will _decrease_ the 
interocular spacing.  Regular viewers either maintain it (slide 
viewers) or increase it (stereoscopes).  Pherhaps rotating the 
lenses of a stereoscope 180 degrees will do it.  Also using a 
mirror stereoscope properly adjusted or backwards...

Copying the picture is slide and mounting it properly is still 
the best way to do it.  Everyone I showed Colin's slide, was able 
to see it.  And they cannot cheat!

I might try it.  Any one wants copies if it works well? -- George
