My first post to 3-d:

a.) Does anyone know of a repair manual or equiv. for a realist? 
I have one that needs a tune up. If not I guess I'll box it up and send 
it to Ron Z., I hope he's still around.

b.) A bit outside the normal 3-d discussion but I really love the 
results when using the original flash from my Realist as well as the 
Viewmaster.
I have not seen a "clip on" strobe that gives anywhere near the same 
amount of light. Being of a strong electronics bacground my next move 
is to use an airport runway strobe and mount it in the reflector. A 6 
volt lantern
 battery can be used to charge a fairly large bank of caps to give  a 
nice hefty discharge for the strobe. Before I spend the effort, is 
there a strobe I can buy that will give me the equivallent flash of a 
#5 bulb? ( I k
now it wont be cheap, I don't care).

c.) I have a Realist with f 2.8, was this considred the "Delux" 
version? Is there a better one? Also are there any new viewers on the 
market other than the cheap plastic lens type. I got a couple from REEL 
3D and they wer
e o.k, but not even close to a Kodak or Realist viewer.

I primarily shoot with one of my three Realists, or the Viewmaster. I 
would be interested in trading one of the Realists for a Colorist if 
anyone is interested. +/- cash
