3-D Software

In Atlanta I purchased a product called 3D MAKER from Synthonics Inc 2801
Townsgate Rd Suite 201 Westlake Village CA 92361 (818)707-6000, FAX
(818)707-6016.  It creates Anaglyphs from pairs of stereo photographs.  It
works good, but without a scanner or a way to digitize my existing photos and
slides, its use is limited to me.  With a color inkjet printer it will create
good anaglyph prints.  
QUESTION?  Had anyone purchased, seen, used, the product DOUBLEVISION, from
Visual Software (TM).  It apparently is suppose to create 3-D anaglyph images
from a single image source.   VisualSoftware creates a wide variety of
sophisticated 3D imaging software and this is it's "my six year old could use
it!" version.   Would like to know if it's at least worth while adding to my
3D software collection.
