That sounds good Liz, but I have heard some terrible rumors.  
I've heard that, in order for your slides to be accepted, you:

1. Must reside within 100,000 miles from Chicago.
2. Must submit slides in two consequtive competitions.
3. Must wear a tie!

Please confirm that these are just rumors...

OK, I am kidding!  I plan to participate for the first time this year and
will try and make it to one of the shows in May.  Thanks for sharing the
history of this important 3-d event...
