Trial readers for my book

Dear Earl (and list),

Thanks for generous offer. Consider the autograph to be yours, and my undying
appreciation. I cannot commit to free copies of a book until I figure out how I
am going to get it published. In an ideal world, I would run off a hundred
copies myself and sell them at the next NSA convention, for $30 or less. At
this time, I have no earthly basis on which to set the price.

BTW, Joel, and Dr. George, your diskettes are in the mail. Bob A., your zip
file is waiting at you CIS account.

Thanks for the tip. The book is aimed at people who are interested in 3-D
photography but don't know where to start. Right now I am more interested in
getting technical feedback than a thorough proofreading. I would like the draft
to be read by several folks with differing levels of 3-D expertise. If a large
number of trial readers think its crap, I won't try to publish.

I have "Monologue for Windows" on my computer and it will happily read the whole
thing back to me.

In some ways, the writing effort has already paid off. I excerpted some
chapters and used them for "life experience" paper to earn college credit. The
"How to Take Stereo Pictures" paper got me three credits, as did a paper on
color printing. I am waiting on"The Physics of Light in Photography."

I am a terrible self-editor and I am well aware of the limitations of spelling
and grammar checkers. I had one non-photographic friend sit down with an
earlier version of the text but I am not sure he slogged all the way through it.
I think he just liked the pictures.
