Re: Expo II
#
#Great!, is the mailing order going to be by the arrival of entries? If so
#I'll have a couple slides in the mail this weekend ; ) Just give me an
#address!
Sorry, Dave, I'll arrange shipping geographically. Did the last expo go
east or west? ;)
#But this brings up a question: how many should I send? My friends have all
#seen my current collection and I have them memorized, so its no hassle if
#they're winging their way around the globe for a year or so, what's the
#proper etiquette? A half dozen?
Excellent point, I forgot to mention that. I plan to follow the previous
expo's rule of max of 3 images (except for ViewMaster, of course).
So you could enter one Realist slide, one ViewMagic print pair, and a
VM reel, for example ---
#I'm fond of the slide holders that fit a 3-ring binder. I'd be happy to
#donate a binder when I send in my entry.
Gladly accepted!
#Technical considerations aside, I'm really excited to meet you all through
#your photographs as well as your words. Having seen only my own realist
#slides, some dimly remembered View-master reels as a kid, and a selection
#of Dr. T's slides when he sold me a most excellent red buton viewer, I'm
#starved for more 3-d photography. 3D Expo II will, I'm sure, be a highlight
#whenever it arrives.
It'll be great!
But bad news - 3d@xxxx rules state that US entrants must be from the
contiguous 48 states - sorry, Dave!
(just kidding! ;) ;) ;) ;)
