I'm with the good doctor on this one, I'm a stereo newbie (6 mo. / > 10
rolls), but I have been taking pictures for 20 years, and I would guess
that's not uncommon among "newbies" who will choose to participate. Let the
bio and the image determine how my entries are judged.
Finding three entries that you're proud of should be possible even from
your first roll, I know I could. But if you're shy, or only have 1 you want
to share, send it in! Don't be a whimpy imageless entry person ;-) My
problem will be to narrow down the field to only three.

The poll is a good idea, as is the idea of encouraging image entries by
doubling the entry fee for imageless folks. I'd hate to see limits placed
on the travel, although I understand the potentially endless nature of this
thing as more people learn about it. At some point people will just have to
wait for the next one, like I had to after finding out about the Expo I.
Perhaps we should think about ways to speed up the circuit. For example:
All South-Central Alaskan participants are hereby invited to my place for
an orgy of eating, drinking, and merry stereo-viewing upon the arrival of
the 3d@xxxx II :-) All kidding aside, those of you who live relatively
close should consider a Expo II party. City to city might be quite a bit
faster than person to person. Just a thought.
Finally, I offered a 3-ring binder for this project. Any advice from prior
participants regarding size? 1 inch, 2, or even 3? A couple smaller ones
instead of a big honkin' unit? I'll donate a couple of realist slide
sheets, what about tabs to separate formats? E-mail me with advice.
Later gang ...
