RBT Mounts - Labelling?

I am just starting to use RBT mounts, and want to find a 
good way of labelling them.

 Until now I have used cardboard or Albion foils with 
cardboard stiffeners. I have labelled the slides by writing 
on them. 
RBT mounts are less easy to write on, and anyway my writing 
is not tidy, so I fancy a change to computer-prepared 
stick-on labels. 

Should I worry about what sort of adhesive paper label to 
use? Some labels seem to lose their stick after a few years. 
Also some of the binding tape I have used on old mounts has 
weakened or wept after 5-8years. 

Any useful experiences out there?
