While you are on the topic of reproduction scopes, I'll add my sales pitch
again. Don't forget about the real heirloom scope, SaturnScope, and the
budget model, EuroScope. The EuroScope, at only $38 , is made of hardwood
and brass, but uses non-hierloom plastic lenses. A lot closer than vinyl
coated cardboard, don't you think? :-)
Brochure available, E-Mail at LDAEnt@xxxxxxx
A follow up on a past posting by myself; my Achromat lensed Holmes scope is
being prototyped now, and I believe (historians can verify this) it is the
first and only production scope using the superior achromat lenses. It will
not be cheap, and will have a total production run of under 20, and never
again to be made. But it will enable us to challenge the other weak links of
the print media; grain and printing quality. The scope will not be the weak
link.
Thanks.
