In retrospect, I couldn't be more sorrier that I didn't get the cool
morphing euro scope thing instead of the horrid cardboard thing. If only I
could take it back and do it over again!
Where do you get the hinge things to attach the wood handle of a holmes
style stereo scope onto the hood? I don't suppose you could sell me just one
of those? I'd pay dearly for it. :( I am trying to restore a stereo scope I
found that was basically just an old hood with lenses that I got for $5 but
I can't find any good substitite for the origianl hinge which I do not have.
I have something on there now that seemed like it might work but it turned
out to be too loose and floppy.
Does anyone have a solution to this? It is the only thing standing in the
way of me finshing this project, which has turned into one of those
nightmare projects that you think will take you a week but end up taking 8
months to finish.
