RE: 127 film ID'd as Fotokemia (ADOX) Eric. G.

The ADOX films were the '50s marvel that allowed grainless 16x20
prints in the 35mm format..especially with the hi res developers like
Agfa Rodinol
(happily in use since 1898). KB14 (ASA20) was the favorite. The modern
Fotokemia films are faster. Number is DIN speed. ASA/ISO and DIN
coincide
at 12..i.e. DIN 12 equals ASA/ISO 12..then DIN doubles speed with each
3 added. ISO/ASA is arthimetic so double the speed of 12 is 24.
So KB21 of Fotokemia = DIN 21 or 12+3+3+3=96 or 100ASA. They may have
made the KB14 too but I haven't seen it when camera stores were buying
it for students in b&w etc. BobH
