For all considering making, modifying viewers...

     consider... taking apart cheap binoculars!

For $20, I've got two coated large objective approx. 100mm lenses that cover
the 645 format and two uncoated lenses approx. 30mm for my dream V-M
modification... also threaded assemblies for construction and focusing...
plus there are prisms and maybe other lenses still hidden inside the
body(where did I put that hacksaw?)

Of course there are the yard sales for economy and I think I'll go "high end"
and take apart a $40 set!
