Well, there is another way to use that most elegant of stereo cameras, the
Nishika 8000.  What you can do is put 100 ASA slide film in it.  When having
the film processed, specify "Do Not Cut" on the envelope.  Cut off the two
outside frames from each set of four frames using ordinary scissors, and
mount them in half frame, slip in mounts available from Reel-3D.  Buy a $4.00
"steal the light" viewer from the same aforementioned company, and you have
stereo slides.  I guess you could tape off the two inner lenses, but it
wouldn't save you anything.

Oh yeah, wear a bag over your head when using the Nishika.  I have found you
will get less abuse that way from your fellow stereographers!  :-)  :-)
