AOL, Arrogance and Splitting the List

In response to those who have discussed splitting-up the list I respond with 
a firm "no" vote. I like it the way it is.

To those of you who wrote about the expense of using AOL for the list I offer 
the following:

I received from "Ric" today at TOSGeneral on AOL a message that accused me of 
using AOL for sending chain letters to other users. I was warned that a 
letter would be put in my file and that I better not do it again.

After quaking in my boots for a while I replied to "Ric" and told him I did 
no such thing, but that I get chain letters, offers for "Ecstacy" tapes, hot 
telephone "dates" and other such unsolicited crap that I have to pay to get 
rid of on AOL.

I am using another AOL service, GNN, right now to write this message so I 
will probably have another letter put in my file and the FBI will likely be 
called in.

I have an appointment today with Sprint and some other person to see about 
using an AOL branch company to "tie" my 5 plants and my customers (all the 
aerospace giants) together. I will be cancelling that appointment. I meet 
with MCI tomorrow.

You too, fellow AOL users, are being watched by people who can't see 
straight. And files are being kept.
