List Split - My vote.

     While others have said it before, and more succinctly, I must say:
     Please do not split the list.
     
     I am a relative newcomer, so I have not had to suffer through repeated 
     posts on a subject previously discussed (though I may be the cause of 
     some of these).
     
     I have learned more about a broad range of stereo-related subjects in 
     the last few months (from this list) than I had learned over the last 
     three years on my own.  I do not read every post, but I read every 
     digest.
     
     I have been exposed to subjects I have not been aware even existed.  
     It has made me consider possibilities undreamed of before.  If you do 
     split it, I will just subscribe to all of the splinters, but (as 
     mentioned before) what happens to the newbie when confronted with the 
     choices?
     
     BTW - have there been complaints from these 850+ people about too 
     broad a variety of subjects?  I "lurk" on a bunch of lists on other 
     topics, and rarely contribute (you all on photo-3d have been "blessed" 
     with my verbosity, hee, hee). Just because I don't comment, does not 
     mean I don't read the posts.
     
     One last thing - I give my "Thanks" to those of you who work 
     behind-the-curtain to make this list possible.  I really appreciate 
     it, though I haven't said that before.
