3D at McDonalds

Sorry if this is a repost. I sent it yesterday and it
didn't appear as far as I know. (None of my other email
I sent yesterday made it either.)

Hi all,

McDonalds in Canada (don't know about US) has NHL hockey
cards available that are lenticular (semi) 3D.

For 49 cents you get a 3 pack. There are Game Winners
(ie stars), Game Savers (ie goalies) and Future Game
Winners (rookies). There are about 41 different ones
in all.

The picture is semi 3D: the subject is a flat image
at the surface of the card. Behind are other (unidentified)
opposition players and the rink boards etc. Some have players
at various depths partially obscuring each other. These players
are all flat (though at different depths). On the back of the
card is stats about the player.

They aren't great, but not bad for 50 cents. I haven't
seen any other lenticulars, like the 3d baseball cards
so I can't compare them. The propaganda says state of the
art 3d by Pinacle.

If someone outside of Canada really wants these I could
pick some up for you. I think there was a max of 5 packs
(15 cards) with a drink purchase. If you wanted to mail
me a $5 bill, or whatever, I'll get as many as possible
after postage and I'll drink your drink for you :)

Email me at erker@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx if you are interested.

Greg
