My reading of this is that it is mandatory as in life one's eyes focus
wherever you look and to view "around in a stereo view" and find an
out of focus area is a jolt to the senses. This is not "photography
and art" but a real life life size image in the brain we are talking
about..that is stereo.
That's IMHO! (I play with photography with my other cameras..) I also
use a viewer exclusively, but I can appreciate problems with dof when
projected!)
