     One word surely does change the meaning.  I'm sure you got the drift, 
     but the word "not" should have been included in the second paragraph 
     of my previous post, as:
     
                ...The images in the Viewmaster (Model D), do_"not"_hold    
                the same degree of mesmerizing captivation.
