Franka viewer optics?

While perusing the Reel-3D web site I noticed that they now
carry an adaptor that allows the Franka slide viewer to be used
with Realist-format slides.  For a while now I've had the itch
to get my hands on a better viewer than the $3 plastic ones I've
been using (I think many of you are familiar with this itch;
I'm afraid Allan has been a bit slow distributing the medication
:-)   ).  The catalog says the lenses are glass, does anyone
know anything more about them?

BTW, I had a dream a couple of nights ago in which I was in a
pawn shop & found a 3-lens camera (little tiny lenses, a la
ImageTech) with an SLR body painted in military camouflage
colors.  Can anyone tell me what this means?
