Thanks, George! I appreciate the tips on getting to the bottom of the corrosion. I don't know why I didn't think of the Dremel. Perhaps it's because I've only used three or four tips (drill, cutting disc, grinder and "oops!"). Sorry I missed the discussion earlier, as Oct/Nov/Dec were just a blur with the new baby on the way. To the digest archive I go... 

Speaking of my hiatus, I am pleasantly surprized to come back to Photo3D and find that one of the new listmembers is right in my backyard! Mark Poole in Lynchburg, if you don't get my separate email, buzz me back, okay?
