There is some chemical that serious audiophiles use to prevent corrosion in their cable connectors etc. It comes in a small bottle at a big price but is supposed to be amazing stuff.

Wonder if it would work in this application. Also wonder if anyone remembers the name of the product, and if anyone has tried it.
