You know Jim, I grew up in Greece, the land of sunshine... As a kid I spent
countless hours in the beach sun tanning.  Sun glasses were never very
popular.  And yet, I don't know anyone that had problem with his eyes...

It's either because of the olive oil, all they all died from skin cancer at
a young age... ;)

PS.  Can any one explain to me why are camera cases (Realist, Revere) are
so popular?
