Re: Stereo Equipment
A few comments regarding prices...and a warning to consumers...
>STEREO KODAK VIEWER - BATTERY LEAKAGE DAMAGE, WORKS OK OTHERWISE US$90.00 B
Make sure that you ask if this is a model I (plastic lenses no AC) or II
(achromats, AC). I suspect (battery leakage) that it is model I. Why buy
this when for $100 you get one mint in box, reworked in various ways and
enlarged by Dr. T... No one even asked about this one in my sale...
>STEREO NISHICA N-8000 WITH CASE, BOOK, TWINFLASH! LIKE NEW US$100.00 A+++
Same set with more accessories was sold for $60 in my sale.
>STEREO REALIST VIEWER - RED BUTTON US$135.00 A
Any one who buys this one at this price will signal this particular dealer
to sell the next one at $150. I am telling you this because I bought a red
button from him at under $100 in his last list. Other 3-d dealers advertise
the same viewer for $110. I wish I had more mint and reworked viewers at
$135 but I don't. It is getting harder to find these viewers and I might
be partially responsible for the increase in their price... But still,
you could do better than $135.
I have nothing against dealers who are trying to balance demand and supply
and perphaps make a living. But I also want the consumers be aware that
they can find the same things elsewhere at lower prices which better
reflect the demand and supply.

PS. And thanks to Eric for posting these items for time and time.
It helps to know what's out there and how much it goes for...
