Actually, at the NSA convention in Atlanta, I saw a new-production viewer
designed/built by Hugo de Wijs (sp?).  It was beautifully made, with a die-cast
metal body and superb lenses.  (As I recall, he offered two focal lengths, one
of which was even short enough to gladden Ortho-Man's heart).  Alas, as I
recall, it cost something like $300.
