You're correct on the part of the statement about a 35mm fl lens on a Realist
format not being the same as a 50mm lens on full frame.  But I said "more
like", and therefore can't be sued ;-)
The main point of my response was that many flashes are already designed to
cover down to a 35mm fl. lens on a full frame camera, so it should do just
fine with a Realist.  My "normal" flashes both do this without attachments.
 I even checked my cheap Canon 60F small flash , it covers down to 28mm fl.
 In actual use I do not have any coverage problems.  I must confess that I
have not used a "normal" 50mm flash head, what flashes are spec'd out at
this?
