Moon Pictures in Kansas

Fellow Stereoites,
 
   The Cosmosphere in Hutchinson, Kansas (near Wichita) has a display with
several paried transparencies from the moon camera. These were apparently all
shot with that funny-looking-long-handled camera that they took with them.
Mostly pictures of rocks on the surface. A duplicate (working/dummy model?)
is on display next to the photographs.
   The photos are in a wall which has viewers attached, so you simply step up
and look through each viewer to see a transparency.  I think they had a
half-dozen or so on display. Unfortunately, the viewers do not have
adjustable focus, and I didn't have my glasses with me, so I learned another
lesson.   %-|
   I have some information about the Cosmosphere somewhere, so if anyone
needs more information let me know and I'll dig it up.
   BTW - Dr. George did have the original camera in his sale. It was listed
in "Big Sale Part III". I think he was selling the Moon Camera and a Mint
Realist Macro for $50 each. I was a little short, since I just bought a
Nashika with free processing for $995.95, or I would have bought them both
 8-)
