Without a little research I coudn't say for sure, but it doesn't seem likely at
first blush. Of course most of the mainstream 3D movies of the '50s were filmed
in Hollywood so it is possible, but I'm sure it wouldn't matter to the
publicists whether it was or not. Last year an animated feature opened here in
L.A. with an ad claiming it was the "first wide-screen animated feature since
Snow White." There were scores of previous wide-screen features, but Snow White
wasn't among them!
