McKinley cards were done by the Keystone Co. and Underwood as close to mass
production as cards ever got so there are lots out there.
Tissue views were also colored from the back by hand, when held to the light
you got bright spots in the pin pricks and color. It had to be tissue to make
the color work. Some of the cards that have not faded in time are spectacular
when held to the light.
Also there are Surprise tissues, such as: a balloon appears when held to the
light or a building is now on fire etc.
