Stereo Graphic question.

You'll have to excuse my ignorance, I'm fairly new to Stereo-photography.

I have a couple of questions.

1. I've picked up a Wray Stereo Graphic camera. After a bit of trial and error
I am taking shots based on a shutter speeds of 1/100, does anyone know what the
actual shutter speed is ?

2. Is there a good reason why most of the cameras I have read about produce
half frame images, Is there a technical reason (e.g. you can't get the lenses
close enough together and still expose two full frame 35mm images ?). If there
are full frame cameras what are they ?
