need moderator now

As Elliott has been warning us, he's leaving the moderator 
group on Friday.  We got one volunteer but his mail system 
wasn't compatible.  So we need another volunteer.  There
are over 800 people on this list.  Seems like there ought 
to be one more soul who could spare the time to do the
subscribes and unsubscribes.  We need a volunteer soon so 
there is some overlap so that Elliott can train the new
moderator.  If we don't get a volunteer, there will be dire 
consequences.  1) We won't be able to add new people to the
list, and with the typical high turnover of a list, the list
will shrink rapidly.  2) People having trouble unsubscribing
(about half of them can't figure out how to do it having 
tossed there instructions) won't be able to get off the list.
So we gotta get serious, folks, and come up with a body.
