Bolex stereo attachment for 16 mm movie cameras

I have just bought the attachment that fits on a Bolex 16 mm movie camera
and there also is a projection lens included.
My problems are these:
1 There are no instructions and the thing that *looks* like it is the
supplementary viewfinder would tax Einstein's brain. The projecting lens I
have doesn't fit into ANY movie projector I have (and I have quite a few).
When I hold some polarized glass up to one of the lenses on the *projecting*
lens, it blacks the image out 100%, when turned appropriately but the effect
on the other lens is *much* less, cutting the light down by, perhaps, only
40%. Does anyone have any help/suggestions/parts etc. I'd love to get into
3-d movies! (Alternatively, does anyone have any other 3-d kits for movie
cameras??
