Feb 25 Stereo New England meeting

STEREO NEW ENGLAND  Winter Meeting,  Sunday,  February 25, 1996

The Meeting actually starts with a buy-and-sell "mini-trade-fair" at 1:45 pm
and then various activities begin at 2:45 preceding the program.

Location is the Newman Auditorium, BBN Inc.,  70 Fawcett St. (off Concord Ave.),
Cambridge,  Mass.,  one block from Fresh Pond Circle.

The program features a 2-part slide show by Louis King of Somerville, Mass.:
1) "Greater Boston Then and Now," stereo images of area scenes showing changes
over the 20 years 1976 - 1996, and 2) "How to Duplicate Yourself in Stereo,"
explaining and illustrating such special effects stereophotography as allowing
a person to appear more than once in a 3D slide, or different parts of a person
to appear in different parts of the slide.

Depending on the length of Louis King's program, Dick Koolish may do a short
presentation on cardboard heat-seal mounting and close up stereo.


The next meeting will be on Sunday, May 19th and will feature Ed Jameson's
underwater macro stereo pictures, taken with a camera of his own design.
