Raymond M. Ingels asks, regarding my earlier comment about wallet size
images printed 2-up on a single 4x6 print:

Oops! That question occured to me after I posted this so-called "helpful"
advice. I was speaking for twin-camera full frame negatives, not
Realist-format, unfortunately.

But I make the suggestion to all realist shooters to at least _ask_ your
local photo finisher if they can oblidge you. Show them the negative strip.
Offer to do the trimming yourself, and assure them that you don't mind the
excess spill-over from the adjacent realist image. That should give you a
pretty nice 3x3 inch square print when you're finished. If you're dealing
with a shop that doesn't do their automated printing in-house, they will
obviously balk. But if they have a machine to run prints, this should not
be a big deal.

With change comes uncertainty. Most clerks will say "We can't do that."
Speak to the manager, as though you know what you're talking about, and
you'll get farther. :)
