Thanks Phil for the detail on your stereo printing. You wonder if the
720 is
better? It is even at 360dpi. I have a Fargo dye sub printer gathering
dust
because the Epson does so well. Epson techs tell me the model II is no
better but the Pro is slightly improved over the Stylus Color 720. I
think a big secret is the driver for Windows 3.1 and 95 from Software
2000 in Oxford England. I cannot get an OS/2 driver to do as well with
the same printer (the OMNI.DRV! stinks). This is too bad because there
are a couple of good OS/2
Graphics programs I have Impos/2 from Germany and Galleria from
Australia.
I had the Canon BJ-300 which sold me on inkjets, and later had an HP
Deskjet 500. Epson two years ago with the 720 took the market away but
the others will probably catch up someday.
I have printed some stereo pairs from Bob Wier's ftp list and also Bob
Manles' http://www.3d-web.com. Also some of the SIRDS. BobH
