A local company, FLIR, is a infrared optics company, particularly known for
infrared imaging systems used in helecopters to find people at sea, as well
as a lot of other uses I've heard about.  I also heard of one "trick"
where using one of their devices, one can play tic-tac-toe on the wall with
one's fingers by looking at the latent heat trails on the wall!  :-)

Those Russian ones at Price/Costco looked interesting if one could maybe
use two of them..... rather big overall perhaps, but they didn't look
so big as one couldn't manage something.  Haven't
seen them lately.  I seem to recall that they were fairly light, at least
w/o batteries installed.
