I'm not sure about the others, but I wonder about infrared
stereo photography using those russian units, perhaps adapted.
Reel-3D, I think, sells a book with 3D infrared photos (I have
not seen it) probably done with daylight and infrared film, but
using the Russian units, a very different style of 3D could be
possible! Possibly awesome!
I might wait until the russian units come with integral digitizers to make
an infrared stereo digital camera (perhaps w/laptop required)!
That might help solve the "viewfinder problem".

P.S. - Spy satelites probably already do stereo infrared photograpy. :-)
