VM film chip duplication

I recently purchased my own VM Personal camera and cutter and I am relatively
new to producing multiple Viewmaster reels. I have taken a roll from which I
would like to make copies for family and friends. However, when I inquired at
my local Raleigh photo lab about duplicating various 3 frame strips of
negatives, the reply was lengthy and expensive. (I assume that it would be
best to have duplication done in this 3 frame manner so that alignment on my
cutter will be easier. It seems that individual frame duplicates would be much
cheaper, yet more difficult to properly align and cut.) I'm not really in the
market yet to send off my film for mass production, so I was wondering if
anyone could suggest an economically feasible alternative that might yield the
best results. I'm only interested in having 5-10 copies of each particular
stereo pair, so I'm not sure if that quantity would limit or expand my
alternatives. I'm also trying to find a film chip insertion tool and close-up
lenses if anyone knows where I could locate them.

This is my first posting to the digest, so I would like to take this
opportunity to express my newfound enjoyment in reading about others with 3-d
interests (especially VM) and locating 3-d resources. Thanks to anyone and
everyone who might suggest some possibilities. I'll watch future digests for
answers or anyone can e-mail me personally at gsterry@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx .
