But don't forget that Holmes stereoscopes have a rather narrow field
of view much as a View-Master does. A Nimslo is closer to a realist
format than to a Holmes format. The Nimslo has about a 1" ? lens and
about a 1" format height while the Holmes has about a 6" lens and about
a 3" format height. If you wanted to view the full Nimslo in a Holmes,
the Holmes would have to have 3" lenses. So you need to enlarge only
the middle of the Nimslo to 3" height to make the stereo card pair.
If you ignore this, you'll get a lot more stretch than you get viewing
Realist slides in a red button viewer.
