The Nimslo produces a frame that is four perferations wide, and the Realist
produces one five perfs wide. Both images are taller than they are
wide--"portrait" format in computer terms, "doorframe" format in visual terms.
Since we are used to seeing movies, TV, and many other visuals that are wider
than high, called "landscape" format in computer terminology, this seems a
little odd. Of course a lot depends on what you are shooting. Portrait format is
perfect for ... well, portraits. Landscape format is better for landscapes. You
get used to the format you have available.
