I think we all feel that way at times... I know I certainly do.
I think photography in general, and stereo photography in particular, are
very humbling pursuits for the majority of us who have to work hard to
experience incremental improvement.
There are those gifted few (my father was one of them) who could pick up
the simplist of cameras, and shoot seemingly the most innocuous of
compositions, and when the print started to emerge from the soup, the
beauty of it would just kill you.
Wish I knew how such folks do it... don't even know if they can explain it.
Just like my wife, who can pick up a paint brush and with a few strokes of
watercolors on paper can create the most powerful and emotional images...
I may have a few hard learned (and minimal) skills, but those poeple have
real talent...
